Depending on availability and your travel arrangements, the excursion can be operated directly from Marsa Alam, or you can join the Cairo excursion from Hurghada for an additional supplement.
Your journey begins with comfortable transportation from your hotel in Marsa Alam towards Cairo. Upon arrival, start your sightseeing at the impressive Grand Egyptian Museum, one of the world’s most important museums dedicated to ancient Egyptian civilization.
Explore the museum’s magnificent collections and discover thousands of fascinating artefacts from ancient Egypt. One of the highlights is the extraordinary collection dedicated to King Tutankhamun, displaying treasures, jewellery, ceremonial objects and other remarkable pieces connected to the famous young pharaoh.
After visiting the museum, continue to the Giza Plateau, home to the three legendary pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure.
The Great Pyramid of Khufu, the largest pyramid at Giza and the only surviving Wonder of the Ancient World, has stood for more than 4,500 years. Learn about the fascinating history, engineering and beliefs behind these monumental royal tombs while enjoying spectacular views across the Giza Plateau.
No visit to Cairo would be complete without seeing the magnificent Great Sphinx. With the body of a lion and the head of a king, this iconic monument has guarded the Giza Plateau for thousands of years.
